  • Cameron Brown Park: Whether your child is a little league baseball player or just getting into pickleball, driving to Cameron Brown is sure to be a part of your regular routine. This large park features a playground, walking trails, sports fields, and picnic areas. It's a great place for kids to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

Amenities Galore

One thing that’s never in short supply in Germantown is entertainment. From unique experiences like the yearly Germantown Charity Horse Show to its frequent celebrations of the arts, whatever your recreational niche is, you’ll find it here. Not to mention, its proximity to Memphis means this suburb getaway is just a short drive from city life when you need a change of pace.

Germantown Charity Horse Show

Germantown has a long history as an equestrian city. In fact, this suburb even has speed limit signs for the horses (10 miles per hour, to be exact)! Keeping in line with this tradition, the annual Germantown Charity Horse Show in June features equestrian competitions, food vendors, and entertainment fit for the whole family.

Germantown Performing Arts Center

Lovingly known as the “GPAC,” this cultural center offers a variety of family-friendly performances, including theater shows, concerts, and dances. Take in the good weather and sunshine at The Grove, the GPAC’s outdoor lawn and stage, or sign up for a classic play in the Duncan-Williams Performance Hall indoors – either way, you’re always in for a treat at the GPAC.

Live, dine, shop, or stay at Thornwood, the European-style mixed-use facility located next to the GPAC. By combining all of these amenities in one location – hotels, restaurants, apartments, and stores – Thornwood makes living feel easy and comfortable. A few of our favorites include the upscale country-chic Moondance Grill and the Memphis-based Buff City Soap.

The Shops of Saddle Creek

This upscale shopping center, home to the only Apple store for miles, features both trendy local shops and iconic worldwide vendors at one walkable outdoor location. You’ll love visiting this one-stop destination for all things fashion, beauty, home, and technology located right in the heart of Germantown.
